Video: The Black Atlantic - Rohirrim (Classroom Concert)

Tolkien's The Two Towers.

""I failed class" - these are the last words still humming in our ears while Geert van der Velde plays the first chords of this brand new song. He's sitting all alone on the stairs of an old staircase while outside cars are driving through the rainy night. It's a 3 minute feast for the ears and the wonderful lyrics and smooth guitar sounds let us immediately forget that Geert already started playing the song for a few times. It's so brand new that it couldn't find his way to Geert's memory yet. For 3 minutes we hung like magnetized on his lips and didn't suspect that we would experience this moment a second time together with the concert crowd later in the evening: Geert, simply with his guitar in the same abandoned staircase, far away from the usual concert atmosphere - a guarantee for goose flashes and wet eyes among the listeners."
